Grilled Peaches & Cream
You’re welcome in advance…. so simple, and a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
Ripe, organic peaches, pitted and cut in half
Good quality vanilla ice cream
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt (anything but the iodized stuff, maldon or other sea salt is best for this recipe).
Instructions:
Fire up your grill or cast iron pan
Rub a layer of ghee on the peaches and place on the grill or pan. You should hear a sizzle when they go on.
Grill peaches until they become a bit soft and good grill marks form.
Serve the halved, grilled peaches in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Drizzle EVOO on top and a sprinkle of salt.
