Grilled Peaches & Cream

You’re welcome in advance…. so simple, and a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • Ripe, organic peaches, pitted and cut in half

  • Good quality vanilla ice cream

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt (anything but the iodized stuff, maldon or other sea salt is best for this recipe).

Instructions:

  • Fire up your grill or cast iron pan

  • Rub a layer of ghee on the peaches and place on the grill or pan. You should hear a sizzle when they go on.

  • Grill peaches until they become a bit soft and good grill marks form.

  • Serve the halved, grilled peaches in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • Drizzle EVOO on top and a sprinkle of salt.
