Plus, you'll learn stretches and exercises to enhance the function of your diaphragm and accessory breathing muscles to improve your asana practice, and general physical health. By the end of the workshop, you will have simple and quick tools for self soothing, stress relief, sleep, and digestion that you can use anytime, anywhere.
This workshop will first cover the basic scientific principles of healthy breathing and postural exercises for optimal diaphragm function. From this foundation we will apply them to pranayama techniques for shifting the state of the body-mind so you can become the master of your nervous system.
